This is going to be a busy month. Apples seem to be early this year and there are not so many of them. I am hoping there will still be enough around to make a display for Brighstone Autumn Show on October 11th. Recently Dave and I visited Jill and Steve Cowley at Lee Farm, Wellow, here on the Isle of Wight. Jill has not one but five orchards - you can find out about Lee Farm under Isle of Wight Apple People and Places or click here for direct link .

I hope you like the new look header for the site, we decided it was time for a change as the old header had been there from the start.
As promised news about the new Isle of Wight Apple Little Pax. A brief history of Little Pax can be found here (under Isle of Wight Apples on this website and then under Little Pax). A full description and painting of Little Pax is now included in the alphabetic list of apples on this site and can be found directly here.
The apple will shortly be on sale and a donation will be given to St Cecilia's Abbey for each apple tree sold.
