(striped and sweet)



From Holland, a cross between Golden Delicious and Ingrid Marie introduced in 1972.

Medium, large and round, slightly  conical.
Green going yellow, flushed three quarters with bright crimson and striped with a slightly darker crimson. Rounded and flattened at base and slightly flattened at apex.

Cavity medium width and depth with russet ‘star’ over green around stalk. 
Stalk is medium to stout although above cavity (Clark says ‘long and thin’).
Basin regular and fairly deep, 
Eye closed
Sepals long and convergent with tips reflexed.
Flesh creamy and crisp, sweet but sharp. Very juicy.
Tough skin but a very good strong flavour.

Tree very vigorous, can be biennial, heavy cropper.
